SLX-SOM-BSB Configuration Switches Print


The S4 DIP switch on SLX-SOM-BSB determines boot selection for the i.MX 6SoloX processor.

The individual switches assignment is as follows (refer to the SLX-SOM-BSB baseboard schematic https://emcraft.com/products/685#hardware and i.MX 6SoloX Applications Processor Reference Manual):

S4.3 and S4.4 control the boot selection (BOOT_MODE) as below:

When S4.3 and S4.4 are set to the Internal Boot mode, the rest of the S4 DIP pins defines the selection of boot media as below:

When the kit is shipped, switches S4.3-8 are set to boot from NAND.

i.MX 6SoloX SOMs are shipped with eFUSEs intact.
